Data-Driven Dispatchable Regions With Potentially Active Boundaries for Renewable Power Generation: Concept and Construction

The dispatchable region of volatile renewable power generation (RPG) quantifies how much uncertainty the system can handle at a given operating point. State-of-the-art (DR) research has studied operational constraints influence DR but seldom considered effect features RPG outputs. traditional is generally described by large number boundaries, and it computationally intensive to construct. To bridge these gaps, novel type defined, which enclosed potentially active boundaries (PABs) that consider proposed easier construct because PABs are only small part boundaries. procedure for constructing in terms progressive search PABs, formulated as mixed-integer linear program incorporating discrete observed data points outputs an approximate distribution. A parallel solution paradigm also developed expedite construction when using dataset. Simulation tests on IEEE 30-bus 118-bus systems verify effectiveness scalability efficiency algorithm.
